People I used to talk to on a regular basis are coming around and asking where I've been or what have I been up to and so on. Well, I don't know who I told and who I didn't, but I'm going back to college to earn a BA degree in computer science and more specifically, software development. It's at a smaller university called CTU, Colorado Technical University, which if your from the states, its very similar to a DeVry or an "older adult-oriented flexible schedule higher learning school." Basically I can take classes at night, as many or as few as I want in order to earn a fully nationally accredited BA degree. At this point, I'm taking 4 classes a term, which would earn me a 4 yr BA degree in about 3 give or take a month. Starting next term, I'm going to push it up to 6 classes a term to get it done if all goes well in 2 - 2 1/2 yrs. So basically, eat, sleep and shit schoolwork, till I snap or untill I have to drop down to 4 again because of work needs. Right now, the Army term I had qualifies me for full paid tuition totally, an extra $1000 once a year for books and fees, and then $1500 a month to live off of, all for the next 3 yrs starting in about a month or 2. Currently, I'm only on the regular GI Bill, which only pays $1300 a month total, while going to school. So the new one is almost 3 times as much paid for, for the same amount of time in the US military. Finally, I really see the pay off, of me loosing a yr without my wife, while in Iraq. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a fully hated time, over there, it would have been alot better with my wife by my side. Anyhow, I digress. What this all means is that for the time being I won't being doing anything new for my page, since I will be snoring software code, when I do get to snore. lol But if I ever get that bug up my ass to draw, in order to NOT run over small kittens with a lawnmower, because of teachers. You all will be the first to see it, I promise! Sorry, to those wanting more, but for now this is how it has to be.
